• Q1. Is same-day reception available?

  Same-day booking may be available depending on our reservation status.

  During busy seasons, we kindly recommend calling us in advance.

  You can also make same-day reservations online.

• Q2. How long does it take from the reservation time to departure?

  Please allow approximately 40 minutes to 1.5 hours.

  The time required to choose your kimono may vary from person to person.

• Q3. Are children’s sizes and special-size kimonos available?

  We offer a wide variety of children's kimonos and are confident in both the quantity and quality of our collection.

  We also receive new, larger-size kimonos for both men and women regularly, so please feel free to visit us with confidence.

  Large-size zori sandals are also available.

  Children: Height 90cm–160cm
  Men: Sizes S to 6XL
  Women: Sizes SS to 4XL
  

• Q4. How long is the rental period? Is next-day return available?

  We do not offer 1-hour or 2-hour rental courses.

  For same-day returns, please return your kimono by 5:30 PM.

  We also offer next-day returns at no additional charge.

  You may return the kimono by 2:00 PM the following day, allowing you to enjoy festivals or nighttime strolls without worrying about the time.

  You do not need to request the next-day return option in advance—you can decide on the day of rental. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy Kyoto until late at night.

  ※ Please note that switching to next-day return after you have already departed is not allowed.

• Q5. I can’t decide which plan to choose. Can I change my plan on the day of my visit?

  Yes, you can.

  Please come to the shop on the day and choose your preferred plan after seeing the kimonos in person.

  When making a reservation, simply let us know the total number of people and the number of men and women.

• Q6. How can I change or cancel my reservation? Is there a cancellation fee?

  If you made your reservation through our website, please contact us via [Contact] → [Email Inquiry], and provide your reservation details along with the changes or cancellation request.

  If you made your reservation by phone, please contact us directly at 075-384-3300.

  For cancellations, please notify us by 4:00 PM the day before.

  Same-day cancellations will incur a 3,300 yen fee, as our staff will already be on standby.

• Q7. Are there any additional fees?

  At Hanaha, you can enjoy our services with complete peace of mind — there are no extra charges beyond the plan fee.

  Stylish accessories, lace items, and many popular photo props such as fox masks, fans, and wagasa umbrellas are all available for you to choose from free of charge. We offer everything at no additional cost.

• Q8. How can I make the payment?

  Payment is made on-site. 

  We accept cash, credit cards (VISA / MasterCard), and QR payments including Alipay, WeChat Pay, and PayPay.

• Q9. Will there be a fee if the rented kimono gets stained or damaged?

  No, we do not charge for minor stains or small tears.

  ※ Depending on the extent of the damage or staining, compensation may be required.

• Q10. How many kimonos are available? Can I also buy a kimono?

  We have over 800 kimonos available at all times (the selection may vary depending on the plan). New designs are added each season.
  From classic and elegant styles to cute, cool, modern, or unique designs, we offer a wide variety of kimono types and brands. Please feel free to choose the one that suits your taste.
